DATA & PRIVACY

Your account and your valley.

Elsewyn uses Google or Apple to verify your sign-in. It does not ask for or store your provider password. The account service stores a provider-specific identifier, the profile name and verified email when supplied, your current world, and the histories of your fallen worlds.

Private world storage

Your account’s world files are kept in private server storage outside the public website. Authenticated requests can access only the world and library belonging to that account. The homepage demonstration does not display a player’s private world.

Cookies and device preferences

A session cookie keeps you signed in. A short-lived cookie matches a sign-in attempt to your browser. Music volume and mute preferences are saved on the device. World files are saved to the server rather than kept as browser-only game slots.

One active world

One world can be active at a time. When it has no living inhabitants, it closes and becomes a read-only history. Histories are retained with the account. There are no import, export or restore controls.

Connected services

Your chosen identity provider handles its own sign-in page. The soundtrack is hosted directly by Elsewyn. No advertising or analytics integration is included in this build.

This page describes the current implementation. Before opening public registration, the site operator must publish their contact, retention and account-deletion process here and review the notice for their actual hosting and jurisdiction.
